Senior .NET Backend Developer

RDT is looking for a Senior .NET Backend Developer to work on a secure certificate provisioning solution supporting device onboarding and certificate lifecycle management. The role combines hands-on backend development with .NET, ASP.NET Core, Azure, X.509 certificates, Windows Services and DevOps. Following an initial onsite introduction, remote work is possible.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using C#, .NET 8/10 and ASP.NET Core
• Develop and maintain Windows Services
• Work with X.509 certificates, including generation, validation, storage and lifecycle management
• Maintain integrations with Azure Blob Storage, Key Vault and Application Insights
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure and certificate-related production issues
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using Azure DevOps
• Contribute to testing, code reviews and engineering best practices
• Support requirements clarification, stakeholder coordination and production rollouts

Must have

• Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core
• Experience with Azure Blob Storage, Key Vault and Application Insights
• Hands-on experience with X.509 certificates or certificate lifecycle management
• Experience with Windows Services
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD
• Good understanding of async programming, dependency injection and file handling
• Experience troubleshooting applications in production / Windows Server environments

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenSSL and certificate automation
• Experience with production monitoring and observability
• Experience with enterprise integrations and secure credential management
