Senior .NET Developer & Technical Lead (German)

NTT DATA Romania is seeking a Senior .NET Developer / Technical Lead to join a specialized team in financial software, developing desktop apps that integrate third‑party data into accounting workflows.

You will lead the initial portfolio of .NET applications, set technical direction, and help establish a broader .NET capability within the team. The role supports either permanent or freelance collaboration, with growth opportunities.

Develop and maintain high-quality desktop apps using C#, .NET, and WPF. Help establish technical standards for the growing .NET portfolio. Work on apps that process financial data from banks, e‑commerce, payments, and payroll. Design and integrate components for data exchange across systems. Work with XML and JSON in data-processing workflows. Use PowerShell for scripting and automation. Implement asynchronous programming using async/await. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and external services. Write well-structured, testable code with unit tests. Troubleshoot issues and propose sustainable technical solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements. Contribute to code reviews and knowledge sharing. Create technical documentation. Work with Agile teams to deliver increments. 8+ years of software development experience with C# and .NET. Strong hands-on experience with WPF and desktop applications. Experience with PowerShell for scripting and automation. Proficient in XML and JSON data formats. Experience with async/await and responsive desktop applications. Experience consuming RESTful APIs and external services. Experience writing unit tests and practicing testable code. Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
