Salary: 800 - 1050 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (3 days per week from the office)

Project

We are seeking a Senior NetApp Storage Engineer to support a strategic storage platform replacement initiative. The role will focus on the deployment and integration of the new solution, data migration activities, technical documentation, and ensuring a secure, resilient, and operationally efficient storage environment. The successful candidate will provide hands-on technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle and support teams managing unstructured data discovery, cleanup, and migration efforts.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Support the deployment and configuration of the new storage platform
  

• Assist with solution design and technical documentation
  

• Plan and execute file storage migration activities

• Provide technical guidance during data inventory and cleanup initiatives
  

• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues throughout the project lifecycle
  

• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams to ensure successful delivery of the solution

• Technical support for storage solution replacement, including:

  • Supporting solution installation/configuration

  • Support in documenting design

  • Data migration to the new platform

  • Technical support to people handling unstructured data inventory and cleanups

Expected competences and knowledge

• Senior experience in managing NetApp file storage solution (5+ years)

• Profieciency in NetApp file storage (CIFS and NFS) in MetroCluster setup

• Basic AD knowledge

• Distributed File System (DFS)

• Understanding File Shares' Security / access rights, protection against cyber threats etc..

• Preferably experience with OPSWAT

• Understanding backup of File Shares through NetBackup DNAS protocol

• Understanding of IT Infrastructure/Solution Architecture

• Understanding of DataCenter networking

• Experience in Disaster Recovery Scenarious

• Experience in migration file storage

• Good to have experience with DataDobi StorageMAP

• Proficient experience in MS Office 365
