Senior Network Engineer
Salary: ₱60,000 – ₱70,000 per month
About the role
Senior Network Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise network and data center infrastructure. This role involves managing Cisco switches, routers, and Meraki wireless access points, administering Palo Alto firewalls, and supporting enterprise WAN infrastructure. You will monitor network performance and availability, configure routing protocols, implement Network Access Control solutions, investigate and resolve complex network incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional IT and Security teams.
Key responsibilities
Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise network and data center infrastructure
Manage and troubleshoot Cisco switches, routers, and Meraki wireless access points
Administer Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies, interfaces, and VPN configurations
Support and optimize enterprise WAN infrastructure, including Silver Peak WAN Optimizers
Monitor network performance, availability, and connectivity using tools such as PRTG
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
Implement and maintain Network Access Control (NAC) solutions using Aruba ClearPass
Investigate and resolve complex network incidents to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity
Provide technical support for global enterprise network environments
Collaborate with cross-functional IT and Security teams to maintain network stability, performance, and security
About you
Strong hands-on experience in enterprise network administration and engineering
Experience with Cisco Switches and Routers
Experience with Cisco Meraki Wireless Access Points
Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 Networking
Experience with enterprise network and data center infrastructure
Knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN, and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP)
Knowledge of IPv4, IPv6, TCP/IP, and DNS
Experience with Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls
Experience with firewall policies and interface configuration
Knowledge of IPsec and VPN Technologies
