Senior Network Engineer
Senior Network Engineer | Cisco & Palo Alto
Deliver network infrastructure for a major Sydney office relocation, covering Cisco switching, routing, Wi-Fi and Palo Alto firewalls. This senior role requires onsite attendance in Sydney.
Location: NSW
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Contract Duration: 6 months, with possible 2 x 6-month extensions
Security Clearance Requirement: NV1
Closing Date: 10.00am, 7 September 2026
Essential Tasks
- Design and implement network infrastructure for a new Sydney office.
- Install and configure routers, switches, wireless access points and firewalls.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain network performance, security and availability.
- Maintain network diagrams, configurations and technical documentation.
Key Criteria
- Minimum 5 years’ IT infrastructure and networking experience.
- Strong Cisco switching, routing, IP networking, Wi-Fi and fibre optic expertise.
- CCNA certification and experience with Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls.
- Experience supporting enterprise networks, with office relocation experience desirable.
