Senior Network Engineer (Fortinet SD-WAN)
Salary: $750-900 per day
We're partnering with a well-established enterprise organisation undertaking a major network transformation program across a large multi-site environment.
This is a hands-on Senior Network Engineer position where you'll play a key role delivering Fortinet SD-WAN, firewall and core networking projects while working alongside an experienced infrastructure team.
The initial engagement is a 3-month daily rate contract, with a strong likelihood of extension based on project delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
Design, deploy and support Fortinet Secure SD-WAN solutions across multiple sites.
Configure and administer FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.
Deliver firewall migrations, network refreshes and branch connectivity projects.
Build and maintain highly available enterprise network infrastructure.
Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, IPSec VPNs, dynamic routing and enterprise WAN technologies.
Assist with network upgrades, cutovers and implementation activities.
Produce technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs and implementation plans.
Work closely with infrastructure, security and project teams to deliver network transformation initiatives.
Provide Level 3 engineering support and technical leadership where required.
What We're Looking For
Strong commercial experience with Fortinet enterprise networking solutions.
Proven experience delivering Fortinet Secure SD-WAN projects.
Hands-on experience with:
FortiGate
FortiManager
FortiAnalyzer
IPSec VPN
BGP
OSPF
HA Firewall Clusters
Strong enterprise routing and switching background.
Experience delivering multi-site network migrations and infrastructure refreshes.
Comfortable working in project-focused environments while remaining hands-on technically.
Fortinet certifications (NSE4/5/7 or FCSS) will be highly regarded.
Cisco experience (CCNP or equivalent) is also highly desirable.
