Senior Network Engineer (Huawei, Wan Chai, 5 days work, over $60K)
Summary
Senior Network Engineer in Wan Chai, Hong Kong handling incident troubleshooting for network components, preparing procurement specs and system documentation, and supporting migration to a new hybrid cloud. Core tech: Huawei VRP products, switches, routers, firewalls, VPN and metro-Ethernet networks.
Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 per month
Job Duties:
Perform issue/incident handling and troubleshooting in particular for network components of the System;
Assist supervisor to prepare technical specifications for network services procurement;
Prepare documentation such as system manual, network diagram, etc. for the enhancement of the System and migration to the new hybrid cloud; and
Any other duties assigned by the supervisors.
Job Requirement:
Diploma or above in Computer Science or related subjects
At least 4-6 years' experience in IT industry
At least 2 years' experience in Huawei VRP & Huawei Products
Good knowledge and experience of deploying metro-Ethernet networks, and configuring switches, routers, firewalls and VPN solutions;
Understanding of load balancers, internet gateways, application proxy servers, domain name services;
Experience in preparing technical specifications for procurement of related network infrastructure products and ME-line services
