Senior Network Engineer (Level 3)
Summary
Senior (Level 3) network engineer in Doha who owns advanced system and infrastructure diagnostics, root-cause analysis of major incidents, firmware/patch strategy, and Aruba/HPE OEM back-to-back escalations, while mentoring staff and advising the Change Advisory Board.
- Provide advanced diagnostics at system, application and infrastructure level for the system.
- cCarry out root-cause analysis for major and recurring incidents and own the permanent fix.
- Open and manage OEM back-to-back support cases under the same ticket and SLA clock.
- Own configuration, firmware and software maintenance and coordinate manufacturer releases and upgrades.
- Own the preventive-maintennace procedures and predictive monitoring for the system.
- Maintain the design documents, SOPs and knowledge base: mentor and sign off Level-3 competence.
- Provide technical assessments to the Change Advisory Board for changes to the system.
- Own network design-level troubleshooting, firmware strategy, capacity and major change: lead Aruba/HPE back-to-back.
Requirements
Aruba (ACMP/ACEP) or Cisco (CCNP).
ITIL Foundation.
7+ years senior network engineering experience.
