Description

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support enterprise and industrial network solutions.
• Architect secure, scalable, and highly available network infrastructures.
• Implement advanced routing and switching solutions across complex environments.
• Deploy and support firewall, SD-WAN, VPN, and network security technologies.
• Lead network migrations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
• Conduct network assessments, audits, and performance reviews.
• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation and design artefacts.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver integrated technology solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking and security issues.
• Support wireless networking design, deployment, and optimisation activities.
• Ensure solutions align with operational, security, and business requirements.

Profile

A successful Senior Network Engineer should have:

• Extensive experience designing and supporting enterprise network environments.
• Extensive experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper and Aruba.
• Strong expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, routing, and switching technologies.
• Experience implementing network security, firewall (Palo Alto), VPN, SD-WAN, and Zero Trust solutions.
• Knowledge of wireless networking technologies and network access control platforms.
• Exposure to multi-vendor networking environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities across complex infrastructures.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience delivering networking projects across multi-site or large-scale environments.
• Relevant industry certifications across networking and security technologies would be highly regarded.
