We are seeking a talented individual to join our IP Services Architecture team at Marsh. This role will be based in Cluj, Romania.

The IP Services Architecture team is a part of the broader Network and Security Infrastructure team that is responsible for design and support of the infrastructure that provides secure network and application connectivity for the firm. The IP Services team focus on critical technologies, including DNS, DHCP, IPAM and application load balancing across our hybrid cloud and on-prem environment. The team sets the strategy for these technologies and works collaboratively with operations teams in NSI and the broader technology organization to deliver resilient services that support our critical business applications.

We will count on you to:

  • Design and support the infrastructure required to deliver DNS, DHCP, IPAM and application load balancing.

  • Collaborate with other teams in NSI to ensure new designs and technologies are well documented and appropriate training and support is provided for handovers to Operations teams.

  • Work with project teams and development teams to ensure that the technologies that are supported by the IP Services team are well aligned with new and evolving application requirements.

  • Engage with vendors on new technologies to help define the longer-term strategy for delivering IP services in an innovative, operationally sustainable, secure and cost-effective way.

What you need to have:

  • High level skill set with DNS, DHCP and IP Management.

  • Familiarity with Infoblox GRID and Appliances.

  • High level understanding of load balancers and load balancing technologies, in particular, F5 Big-IP and F5 Distributed Cloud

What can you expect?

  • Ability to work as part of a team complete complex tasks and projects.

  • Ability to provide self-direction on individual tasks with high-level direction

  • Ability to read and converse in English language is greatly preferred.

What makes you stand out?

  • At least 5 years’ experience providing high level Engineering and escalation support of a large DDI Infrastructure.

  • Experience and familiarity with Cloud based technologies and providers such as Amazon and Microsoft Azure.

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform
