Senior / Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality occupational therapy services as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
• Develop individualized care plans and treatment goals for clients.
• Deliver occupational therapy interventions for inpatient settings.
• Plan and implement occupational therapy programs for clients with dementia, mental health, musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions to review and support clients' progress.
• Supervise and provide guidance to Therapy Assistants, volunteers, and Occupational Therapists under conditional registration.
• Support the training and development of Therapy Assistants, caregivers, and team members in occupational therapy-related areas.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects.

Requirements:

• Recognized Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
• At least 3 years of relevant occupational therapy experience.
• Experience working with elderly clients is preferred.
• Experience managing clients with neurological, musculoskeletal, mental health, or dementia-related conditions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation skills.
