Senior Open Source Engineer - Remote Cloud Security & Falco

Sysdig is hiring a software engineer to build exciting new technologies within Falco, OSS Sysdig, and related libraries. You will contribute to open source projects, engage with users, and help maintain and release software.

The role emphasizes Linux, eBPF, containers, and Kubernetes expertise, with a strong community presence. You should have 5 years in cloud native or security roles, excellent problem-solving, and strong communication.

Develop new technology within Falco, OSS Sysdig and related libraries and Open Source projects. Contribute as a maintainer and assist users in adopting the tools. Fix reported bugs and participate in releases and automation efforts. Engage with the community via Slack, GitHub, conferences, talks, and blogs; share technical insights. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer in cloud native or security domains. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent collaboration skills.
