Senior Operations Executive

Oversee day-to-day operations of a sports venue, manage bookings and events, and provide first-level IT support for booking platforms and systems.
About the role
The Senior Operations Executive supports the day-to-day operations of Wyse Active Hub by ensuring the efficient management of venue operations, end-to-end event management, and technology support. The role encompasses facility operations, customer service, event coordination, website and booking platform administration, and first-level IT support. Working closely with the IT Manager, the incumbent helps maintain operational systems and technology to ensure smooth daily operations and successful event delivery.
This is a 1-year contract position with the opportunity for renewal, subject to performance and business requirements.
What you'll be doing
Venue & Event Operations (70%)
- Venue & Facility Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the sports facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for members and visitors.
- Booking & Customer Support: Coordinate court bookings and allocations, resolve scheduling conflicts, and respond to customer enquiries through frontline service channels.
- Facility Maintenance & Safety: Monitor court conditions, oversee safety compliance, and coordinate with maintenance vendors to ensure timely rectification of issues.
- Tournament & Event Operations: Support the planning, logistics, venue setup, and on-site execution of tournaments, corporate bookings, and regional and national badminton events.
Technology & Systems Support (30%)
- Website & Platform Administration: Maintain website content through the Content Management System (CMS) and support the day-to-day administration of digital booking platforms, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
- IT Support: Provide first-level troubleshooting for operational systems and equipment, escalating unresolved hardware or system issues to the IT Manager when required.
- Technology Readiness: Set up, test, and maintain operational technology and equipment to ensure systems are fully functional for daily operations.
- Operational Records & Compliance: Maintain digital records and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and applicable data protection requirements (PDPA).
What we’re looking for
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in sports administration, venue operations, customer service, events, or digital operations.
- Digital Platform Proficiency: Comfortable using Content Management Systems (CMS) and other digital platforms to manage website content and support operational processes. Prior experience updating website content is preferred; coding knowledge is not required.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable using digital platforms and operationaltechnology, with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and learn newsystems quickly. Experience supporting event technology is an advantage.
- Customer & Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Organisation & Adaptability: Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage both operational and digital administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Operational Flexibility: Willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays to support operational requirements, tournaments, and special events.
