Senior Operations Manager - Commercial Operations

You will sit at the intersection of Operations, Product, and Corporate Finance, ensuring the customer acquisition funnel, vendor cost bases, and product rollouts align with financial forecasting models. You will meet regularly with Product and Operations teams to extract insights on planned and live initiatives and turn them into structured data inputs for FP&A. You will own the tracking of operational actuals, monitor global unit costs against efficiency targets, and assess the commercial impact of KYC initiatives. You will also act as the lead non-technical project manager for high-stakes operational initiatives, from deploying product updates to launching new geographical markets, bridging Operations, Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Map, track, and collate upcoming product roadmaps, features, and departmental OKRs with cost or capacity impact
  • Establish a regular cadence with Product and Operations teams to extract operational insights for FP&A forecasting models
  • Monitor and track unit costs across markets and SaaS vendor segments against efficiency targets
  • Analyze the commercial impact, ROI, and efficiency gains of product updates and operational process changes
  • Support the FP&A team by updating operational actuals, tracking vendor billing and usage, and maintaining headcount and resource models
  • Manipulate operational data using Excel and visualization tools to deliver commercial insights to senior leadership
  • Act as lead non-technical project manager for critical operations projects including new market launches
  • Drive alignment between Operations, Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Finance
  • Own project roadmaps, manage external vendor timelines, and mitigate risks to keep launches on schedule
  • Translate complex operational metrics into clear narratives for corporate leadership
  • Build scalable documented processes and design performance dashboards

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in FinTech, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Business Operations, or Finance Business Partnering
  • Strong numerical and data skills, comfortable updating headcount and budget inputs and tracking KPIs
  • Track record of managing complex multi-stakeholder project timelines and cross-functional delivery
  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Experience with data visualization or BI platforms such as Looker or SQL is advantageous
  • Proven ability to partner with corporate leadership and align technical and non-technical teams
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a highly analytical business or engineering field
  • Fluent English required; German, French, or Italian advantageous
  • Operational experience in KYC or regulated SaaS environments is a plus
