What You Will Do *

  • Demonstrates operational excellence in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and organizational development.

  • Strong Program Management and resource management to successfully execute the new programs.

  • Ensures effective implementation of product and manufacturing technologies.

  • Manages objectives for operating budgets, capital plans, and cost savings targets.

  • Achieves inventory turns improvements and manages manufacturing variances.

  • Champions change through the active personal support of Continuous Improvement tools and processes.

  • Drives employee engagement, positive culture, and executes strategic workforce planning initiatives.

  • Standardizes best practices across operational cells.

  • Provides the necessary coordination of activities with internal/external suppliers and customers.

  • Maintains compliance to all regulations, laws, and management systems requirements.

  • Proactively reduces EH&S risks and promotes safe behaviors in the workplace.

  • Supports the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process to meet On Time Delivery and financial targets.

  • Ensures successful implementation of new program development activities.

  • Develops maturity of Business Intelligence tools in support of efficient material flow in the value stream.

  • Integrates tactical & strategic supply chain activities to manage risk and leverage spend.

Qualifications You Must Have *

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR Advance degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.

  • Experience in End to End Program Management of new products and production readiness to successfully launch products.

  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, chemical processing, machining, metal fabrication, composites manufacturing, or assembly practices is preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing Lean Manufacturing or Six-Sigma techniques.

  • Managerial skills and Talent development.

  • Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities.

Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams.

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
