Senior Oracle Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Core DBA with a strong background in Oracle Database administration high availability disaster recovery database performance optimization and replication technologies The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience managing mission‑critical production environments and be capable of independently implementing upgrading troubleshooting and supporting Oracle database infrastructure Experience with MySQL administration and clustering is also required b b b

Key Responsibilities

• Install configure administer upgrade and maintain Oracle Database environments
• Manage Oracle RAC environments including installation administration monitoring and troubleshooting
• Design implement and administer Oracle Data Guard Physical Logical Standby for Disaster Recovery
• Configure administer and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate Classic Architecture and Microservices Architecture
• Perform database performance tuning using AWR ASH ADDM SQL Tuning Advisor and execution plan analysis
• Monitor and optimize SQL performance database resources memory storage and I O
• Perform Oracle database patching Release Updates RU upgrades and migration activities
• Execute backup and recovery using RMAN and validate recovery procedures
• Perform database cloning Data Pump export import and database refresh activities
• Administer ASM Oracle Clusterware Oracle Grid Infrastructure and Oracle Restart environments
• Install configure administer and troubleshoot MySQL databases
• Implement and manage MySQL Replication and MySQL Cluster solutions
• Develop automation scripts using Shell SQL or Python to simplify routine DBA activities
• Perform root cause analysis for database incidents and implement preventive measures
• Work closely with application infrastructure and security teams during project implementation and production support
• Maintain technical documentation operational procedures and disaster recovery documentation
• Participate in planned maintenance activities and provide on‑call support when required

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience as an Oracle Core DBA.
• Strong experience supporting mission‑critical production environments.
• Experience in Oracle database upgrades, migrations, patching, and high‑availability solutions.
• Experience administering both Oracle and MySQL database environments.
• Preferred Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle Certified Master (OCM), Preferred Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certification, Preferred MySQL Database Administrator Certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
