Senior Performance Marketing Manager
Ambition has no passport. That belief is why LemFi exists. We're the financial engine for people the world wasn't built to serve, the millions who move countries to build something better and find the financial system hasn't caught up with them yet. We started with remittances: the money people send home to the people they love. Now we run multi-currency accounts, Savings, eSIMs and Credit. Because staying connected to home and building somewhere new are not two separate things. They never were.
About the role
LemFi exists to serve people the financial world has largely ignored. Every campaign we run is a chance to reach a diaspora customer who needs a faster, fairer way to send money home, save in multiple currencies, or access credit for the first time. Performance marketing is not a support function here - it is one of the sharpest levers we have for scaling into new corridors and deepening product adoption in the markets we already serve.
As Senior Performance Marketing Manager, you will own paid acquisition end to end across our core channels and geographies. You will set strategy, run the numbers, brief the creatives, and be accountable for CAC, ROAS and volume targets - not just the dashboards that report them. You will work closely with Product, Growth, Creative and Data to make sure every pound, dollar or naira of media spend earns its place. If you treat a budget like it is your own money, read the data before forming an opinion, and push through the noise to find what actually moves the needle, this role is for you.
What you'll build and own
Own paid media strategy and execution across Meta, Google, TikTok and programmatic, covering customer acquisition and product cross-sell across LemFi's active markets.
Manage and optimise significant media budgets with a clear eye on CAC, LTV, ROAS and payback periods - make the numbers work, not just look good in a report.
Design and run a rigorous test-and-learn programme across audience segmentation, creative angles, bidding strategies and landing pages, using AI tools to accelerate analysis and iteration.
Translate campaign data into clear, actionable insight for senior stakeholders - lead with what it means and what to do next, not just what happened.
Partner with the Creative team to brief and iterate on paid assets that speak plainly to diaspora audiences across different corridors and cultures, cutting through the noise in crowded feeds.
Work cross-functionally with Product and Growth to align paid campaigns with product launches, corridor expansions and seasonal remittance peaks, so spend lands when it matters most.
Develop and maintain attribution and measurement frameworks that give the business confidence in channel contribution, flagging gaps and pushing for better data where it does not yet exist.
Your experience
5+ years of experience in performance marketing for a mobile app product, with a proven track record of managing substantial paid media budgets across at least Meta and Google, ideally within a high-growth consumer fintech, payments, or marketplace business.
Full-funnel approach to growth, naturally thinking beyond acquisition and considering the entire customer lifecycle.
Hands-on experience acquiring and retaining users for a mobile app product (iOS and Android), including working with mobile measurement partners, attribution tooling and incrementality testing.
Demonstrably strong analytical skills - you move fluently between a campaign dashboard, a spreadsheet model and a conversation with a data analyst, and you know when instinct must give way to evidence.
Ability to write a sharp creative brief and give structured feedback - you do not need to design, but you know what good looks like for a paid social ad.
Comfort working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment where priorities shift and you are expected to figure things out without a large supporting team.
A genuine bias for action - you spot a problem or an opportunity, form a view, and move without waiting for permission to test.
Nice to have
Experience running paid campaigns in emerging markets across Africa, the Middle East or South Asia, with an understanding of how channel mix and creative norms differ from Western markets.
Familiarity with AI-powered creative testing or media planning tools, and a habit of using them to do more with less.
Exposure to multi-product growth loops - for example using remittance acquisition as an entry point to drive adoption of Savings, Credit or eSIM products.
