Senior Platform Engineer F/TOverviewInteract with the development and project teams to transform business and technical requirements into load balancer architecture design.
Role
• Create solutions with high level of innovation, cost effectiveness, high quality, and faster time to market.
• Contribute to the overall strategy and manage complex issues within functional area of expertise.
• Develop and maintain automation around build and deployment of load balancer instances and configurations.
• Responsible for the entire life cycle of the load balancing platform, including the analysis, design, patching, and building of all load balancer configurations at MasterCard.
• Ensure the technical design meets the sizing and performance requirements of each application.
• Ensure infrastructure and security designs adhere to MasterCard standards, processes, availability requirements, and best practices.
• Develop, build, and implement load balancer designs in lower environments.
• Collaborate with Business Operations and Service Delivery teams to architect complex network design solutions encompassing end-to-end application architecture that scale for strategic growth.
About You
• Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered, or as a Programmer Analyst, System Test Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, or related.
• Qualifying experience must include at least one (1) year with each of the following: Required Skills: Agile/scrum project management methodologies, Network connectivity including IPV4, IPV6, port assignment, Version control systems including Git or SVN, Delivering agile projects utilizing end to end CI/CD pipelines, Ssl and digital certificates, Load balancing http/https, Web and Middleware.

Pay Ranges
O'Fallon, Missouri: $96,000 - $163,000 USD
