We are looking for an experienced
PLC Programmer / Automation Control Engineer to develop and commission new industrial automation machines and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop PLC programs for newautomation machines.
- Perform I/O checking, machine testing,debugging and commissioning.
- Develop and integrate motion control systems,including servo, stepper, positioning and multi-axis applications.
- Select, configure and integrate industrialsensors for detection, measurement and machine control.
- Program and integrate industrial robots,including PLC/robot communication, I/O, positioning and safety interlocking.
- Develop and modify HMI programs.
- Read and understand electrical schematics andcontrol drawings.
- Troubleshoot PLC, motion, sensor, robot andelectrical control problems.
- Support customer-site machine installation andcommissioning.
- Prepare machine operation/maintenancedocumentation and conduct customer training.
Mandate Requirement
- Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on PLC programmingexperience developing NEW automation machines/equipment.
- Strong practical knowledge of Motion Control.
- Strong practical knowledge of Industrial SensorApplications.
- Strong practical experience in IndustrialRobotics Applications & Integration.
- Hands-on experience with Inovance, Omron,Mitsubishi Electric or other major PLC platforms.
- Able to independently develop, debug andcommission automation machine control systems.
- Able to read and understand electrical controldrawings.
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics,Automation, Mechatronics, Control Engineering or related discipline.
- Able to communicate effectively in English.
- Willing to travel for machine installation andcommissioning.
