MANTECH Senior Policy Analyst
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Policy Analyst to join our team in Linthicum, MD.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on complex DoD customer policy issues using diverse sources such as academic literature, government reports, stakeholder consultations, and data analysis.
Analyze existing policies and programs to assess their effectiveness, identify emerging trends, and maintain accurate records of challenges and opportunities.
Manage complex policy projects from start to finish, which includes developing and managing project plans, timelines, and dependencies.
Establish and maintain enterprise policy for project execution and performance measurement requirements, proactively monitoring progress and resolving issues.
Develop policy proposals and recommendations, conducting consultations with stakeholders to gather feedback and build strong partnerships.
Represent the DoD customer in various forums, present proposals, facilitate consensus, and prepare communication materials to convey complex policy issues.
Respond to inquiries from stakeholders to ensure clear and concise information is provided across the Department, Federal Government, academia, and industry.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience developing and managing policy for the DAF/DoD in forensics, cybersecurity, or cyber threat analysis.
Applied comprehensive knowledge of policies impacting cybersecurity, forensics, cyber training, and system development to ensure compliance and guide project execution.
Familiarity with National Cyber Intelligence programs.
Knowledge of DoD and US IC resource planning policy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Public Policy, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline.
Extensive experience coordinating complex policy initiatives across multiple Federal Government agencies and academic institutions.
Demonstrated capability in utilizing advanced data analysis tools to evaluate the effectiveness of existing cyber policies and forecast future requirements.
Clearance Requirements:
Candidates must possess and active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and related equipment.
Must frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, and be able to successfully exchange accurate information in these situations.
