Senior / Principal Systems Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the team and provide day-to-day operational support of the hospitals and related IT systems.
- Partner the various departments in the execution of projects, implementation of medical devices, change requests and operations of hospital IT systems.
- Participate in clinical projects and be involved in the full cycle, which includes acquisition, management, usage of IT resources, capital planning, investment analysis, budgeting, implementation and performance measures.
- Resolve project issues with vendors and key stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of IT projects.
- Investigate processes to ensure system capabilities and process requirements are aligned.
- Ensure that the systems assigned are performing at optimal level and all established SLAs are met.
- Other duties as and when assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in leading and hands-on SDLC management for medium to large scale application projects.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle negotiations.
- Equipped with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experiences and knowledge in the following area(s) preferred:
- healthcare related systems and solutions such as EMRs
- clinical systems and healthcare standards such as HL7 Messaging, ICD10, DICOM, DRG and Snomed CT, LOINC etc.
- clinical and ancillary applications/workflow
- software development and testing experience using Visual Basic, .NET applications, MS SQL server or Oracle database
- PMP and/or CITPM certified
- implementations with AI
