Job Description
As Senior Process Engineer you are part of the development of future high precision pad printing platforms and part of many exciting new projects!
Core Responsibilities:
Participate in development of high precision pad printing equipment with an equipment process perspective
Explore, describe and minimize sources of variation in pad printing processes
Define and drive optimization of relevant sub-systems and components using data-driven methods and cross-functional collaboration to ensure stability and precision
Define and drive structured testing throughout equipment development stages
Participate in approval of equipment and processes within processing
Lead process optimization initiatives
Engage and take the lead in systematic root causes investigations and help in continuous improvement efforts
Responsible for designing and conducting scientific and structure d experiments (e.g. DoE) to analyse and determine technology capabilities and optimising processes and parameters to improve reliability, quality and efficiency of an equipment
Manage the documenting processes, procedures, and outcomes for knowledge sharing and future reference to ensure a successful handover for industrial implementation
Participate in the commissioning and validation of new equipment and processes
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations

Process Foundation is a part of an area called ‘Global Production Foundation’, responsible for standardization and safeguarding of global Processing equipment and processes, securing right performance, use and functions in a global setup. The Senior Process Engineer will work closely with dedicated colleagues in project activities to support development of new equipment and equipment components, with a systemic perspective on interaction between all system components. With this perspective, the engineer drives structured testing of both sub-systems and full equipment systems, to achieve the needed equipment performance, with a focus on eliminating variation and ensuring system stability.
The role is working closely together with team members inside Process foundation as well as other departments for us to succeed together. The area works as a connection point between Equipment Development/Governance, Materials, Quality and Global Production sites in order to secure a strong global processing process foundation.
Do you have what it takes?
Bachelor in engineering or higher (mechanical, production, similar)
Six sigma certifications (minimum green belt)
Experience with machine/equipment development and optimization
Good process understanding and a holistic understanding of how materials, process and equipment define the quality of the product
Good ability to describe complex processes with relevant parameters
Good communication skills with an ability to make complex topics easily accessible
Good teamwork skills
A desire to improve how we work, in collaboration with a broad range of colleagues
Experience with project management tools
5 + years of experience working with production equipment
Experience in pad printing or other surface decoration processes
Experience in equipment design and optimization in a high efficiency production environment
Ideally experience using Siemens NX and Teamcenter
Experience from working in a cross functional, global org anisation
