Senior Process Manager

We are looking for a Senior Process Manager – Payroll & Compliance to lead end-to-end payroll operations and ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. The role involves managing payroll processes, driving compliance, and acting as a key liaison between HR, Finance, vendors, and government authorities.

Payroll Management

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, including input collation, validation, and finalization
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution
  • Ensure correct and timely Full & Final (F&F) settlements for exiting employees
  • Manage leave, attendance, and timekeeping processes

Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, Gratuity, MLWF, New Wage Code, and other statutory regulations
  • Manage filings of statutory returns and ensure adherence to timelines
  • Handle statutory and tax audits, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  • Liaise with government authorities and manage PF/ESIC portals

Audit & Governance

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in all payroll-related processes
  • Maintain readiness for statutory and internal audits
  • Monitor changes in labor laws and implement updates accordingly

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a single point of contact for senior leadership on payroll and compliance matters
  • Collaborate with HR for benefits, leaves, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Partner with Finance for payroll data, reporting, and statutory requirements
  • Work with IT to improve systems and drive automation initiatives

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Analyze payroll processes to identify improvements and efficiencies
  • Oversee preparation of payroll reports, including regulatory and management reports
  • Ensure all processes are aligned with latest statutory requirements

Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage Sodexo, car fuel allowance, and other employee benefits
  • Drive Apprentice Program (registration, compliance, claim process)
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory standards
  • 10–15+ years of experience in payroll and statutory compliance
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with PF/ESIC portals and payroll systems
  • Experience handling audits and regulatory filings
  • Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills
  • High attention to detail and process orientation
