[What you will be working on]

We are seeking a talented Senior Product Designer to join our BizSG team, responsible for designing user-centric digital products and services that streamline government-to-business (G2B) interactions in Singapore. You will play a key role in enhancing the user experience of critical government platforms, making them intuitive, efficient, and accessible for businesses.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand business needs, pain points, and user behaviors.

• Translate research insights into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for various digital products and services within the BizSG ecosystem.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements, iterate on designs, and ensure technical feasibility.

• Develop and maintain design systems and UI guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability across BizSG platforms.

• Champion user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine solutions.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design.

• Contribute to a culture of design excellence and innovation within GovTech.

[What we are looking for]

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in product design, UX design, or UI design, preferably with experience in B2B or government digital services.

• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, demonstrating your design process, problem-solving skills, and visual design capabilities.

• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability best practices.

• Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design solutions.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• Experience with government digital services or platforms is a plus.

• Substantial product design experience, with a track record of leading design on complex, multi-stakeholder products

• Experience designing for AI/conversational products (chatbots, copilots, agentic systems) is a strong plus, especially handling uncertainty, trust, and escalation

• Comfort designing within highly regulated, cross-agency, or government contexts — where constraints are as much political/procedural as technical

• Strong systems thinking — able to design for a platform that spans multiple agencies, data sources, and evolving capabilities (advisory today, transactional tomorrow)

• Experience mentoring or leading other designers

• Excellent communication skills — able to work with senior government stakeholders and translate design work into plain, decision-ready language

• Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving, pre-launch environment

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Singapore's public digital service landscape (GoBusiness, Business Grants Portal, CorpPass, Chat.Gov.SG, or similar G2B/G2C platforms)

• Experience designing for RAG/LLM-based products and their failure modes

• Background in service design or policy-adjacent design work
