Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement the strategic vision for products within the Nielsen Ad Intelligence applications portfolio, aligning with company goals and market needs.

  • Oversee the end-to-end product life cycle, from concept and development to launch and iteration.

  • Prioritize the product roadmap, including a clear understanding of requirements, resources, execution timelines, and impact.

  • Identify customer problems and workflow opportunities where AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies can unlock novel product capabilities and measurable business value.

  • Define, evaluate, and drive AI-enabled product initiatives from discovery through production, including use case prioritization, solution design, experimentation, launch planning, and post-launch optimization.

  • Partner closely with engineering, data science, and architecture teams to implement AI-powered solutions using appropriate approaches and tools, including machine learning, model orchestration, MCP, and related technologies where applicable.

  • Establish clear product requirements, success metrics, guardrails, and evaluation criteria for AI functionality, including quality, reliability, explainability, performance, and user adoption.

  • Lead testing and validation of AI-driven features through prototyping, test-and-learn experiments, pilot programs, and phased rollouts to ensure product-market fit and operational readiness.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, sales, and marketing) to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy.

  • Drive innovation in planning products, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

  • Lead stakeholder communication, including presenting product initiatives and updates to cross-functional leaders and meeting with customers.

  • Ensure products are launched on time and within budget, while meeting high-quality standards.

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the Nielsen Ad Intelligence applications.

  • Ensure efficient and effective product development processes, including agile methodologies and best practices.

  • 10–12 years of experience in technical product management with deep technical knowledge

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience building 0-to-1 products, leading client discovery, executing test-and-learn research, and adjusting product direction based on new information and changing priorities.

  • Demonstrated success in driving product innovation and managing complex portfolios.

  • Familiarity with modern AI product development concepts and tooling, such as model evaluation, prompt and workflow design, human-in-the-loop systems, MCP, and experimentation frameworks, is strongly preferred.

  • Experience with advertising tech stack and direct experience building linear, digital, ad intelligence, cross-platform planning and measurement, DSP, SSP, ad server, data-driven planning, activation, programmatic buying, and measurement solutions in CTV/OTT environments is strongly preferred.

  • Experience with media measurement in international markets desired.

  • Experience with machine learning and AI applications in ad tech, including identifying practical use cases, partnering on implementation, and evaluating customer and business impact is desired.

  • In-depth industry knowledge and experience with digital advertising standards and protocols, particularly in CTV and OTT, and familiarity with industry standards desired.
