Senior Product Owner / Technical Product Lead

Job Responsibilities:

• Supports IT leadership with planning IT projects, ensuring goals and objectives are met within an arranged time frame.
• Interfaces with system support and logs technical assistance requests as needed.
• Works with system support to resolve questions, problems, and enhancement requests.
• Manages projects including the formulation and definition of systems scope based on user needs, a thorough understanding of the business systems, and industry.
• Supports other departments, divisions, and organizations as a liaison to IT.
• Contributes to system development through the analysis of business requirements, business design, business development, client training, data conversion, testing and maintenance.
• Prepares charts, diagrams, and recommendations for business solutions while ensuring conformity with other business areas.
• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices.
• Performs other duties as described

Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus generally four years of directly related experience.
• Strong working technical and/or IT development experience.

• Application lifecycle management and enterprise application support.
• Agile delivery, backlog management, Epic and Feature decomposition, Azure DevOps.
• Product ownership and business requirements management.
• Software development leadership and coordination of global development teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration across geographically distributed teams.
• Strong blend of business process knowledge, product ownership, application delivery, AI adoption, and technical leadership.
• Particularly valuable in organizations needing a leader who can translate business needs into delivered solutions while developing and leading global engineering teams.
