Working within our data centre fit out business, you will support the delivery of projects that require technical excellence, precision and a consistent focus on quality. As the Senior Project Engineer, you will:
- Manage the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) scope on a data centre project from design through to handover.
- Reviewing and challenging design information to improve buildability, programme, cost, carbon reduction and operational performance.
- Coordinating design teams, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitoring installation works on site to ensure quality, safety and compliance with specifications and legislation.
- Carrying out engineering checks including cable sizing, containment sizing, pump sizing and fan sizing where applicable.
- Supporting procurement activities and ensuring materials and equipment are delivered to programme.
We are looking for:
- Demonstrable solid experience in a project engineering role on similar MEP Projects.
- Experience in the Data Centre market is preferable.
- Experience in process management, to defined timescales.
- Demonstrate competence in the use of software such Navis Works, Revizto, Asite, Amtech etc.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Excellent working knowledge of MEPH systems and their interdependencies.
