Senior Project Manager (Bank, Permanent)
Summary
Leads large-scale IT projects for a bank, coordinating global initiatives like HR systems and data platforms across APAC while managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end IT project delivery within scope, budget, and timelines
Perform as the APAC IT representative in Global project such as Global HR system implementation and Data Platform Implementation and other global initiative.
Manage end-to-end APAC IT workstreams (planning, design, build, test, deployment, hypercare).
Collaborate with stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to align objectives
Manage the full project lifecycle from requirements to post-deployment support
Monitor progress, risks, and compliance with methodologies and regulatory standards
Communicate updates, manage vendors, and mentor project managers to ensure delivery excellence
Requirements
10 to 15 years of IT project management experience in the banking services industry, preferably within data, analytics, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
Proven track record leading regionally distributed or global programs, preferably across APAC.
Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams with strong influencing skills
Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications preferred
