About the role


As a Senior Technical Project Manager within the Enterprise Delivery team, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects and workstreams that form part of the Beacon Transformation Program. Working closely with Portfolio Leads, the Project Management Office, technology teams, business stakeholders, vendors and implementation partners, you will ensure projects are delivered successfully, meeting agreed objectives, milestones and business outcomes.
This is a critical leadership role that will help drive enterprise-wide transformation across cloud platforms, integrations, applications, data capabilities and modern technology solutions. You will provide strategic direction, navigate complex delivery environments, influence senior stakeholders and create alignment across business and technology teams to ensure sustainable outcomes for CBUS and its members.


Key accountabilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects and transformation initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes against scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives.
  • Manage cross-functional delivery teams, vendors and implementation partners while maintaining strong governance, reporting and risk management practices.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders to influence decisions and drive delivery success.
  • Coordinate solution design, testing, deployment, operational readiness and transition activities across multiple delivery streams.
  • Mentor project management colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery capabilities across CBUS.

What will you bring?
  • Extensive experience delivering large-scale technology projects and transformation programs within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, enterprise integrations, data platforms and modern application delivery practices.
  • Demonstrated success managing vendors, implementation partners and complex cross-functional dependencies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at executive level.
  • Experience working across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies, ideally within Financial Services or Superannuation.
