Senior Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses for construction projects.

Budget Management

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and within agreed-upon limits.
  • Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
  • Approve and process invoices and change orders.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and site workers.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.

Quality Control

  • Oversee all construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Maintain regular communication with clients and provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.
  • Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the construction process.

Risk Management

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Address and resolve any unforeseen challenges promptly.




Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficient in Procore and Scheduling Software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously when necessary.
  • Adept at coordinating work in active environments that remain operational during construction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Familiarity with pre-construction, scope development and cost estimating.
  • Prior experience managing construction projects on active military bases or other Department of Defense installations is strongly preferred.
