As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to provide leadership across major projects and complex remedial works. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by driving project performance, strengthening client relationships, mentoring high-performing teams, and contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the business.

Requirements

The Senior Project Manager leads the delivery of major projects or a portfolio of complex remedial works, holding overall accountability for safety, quality, program, and financial performance. The role oversees project teams from inception to completion, ensuring all works comply with contractual, legislative, and RM Watson requirements.
The position drives project planning, financial management, contract management, risk management, procurement, and resource coordination, while maintaining strong WHS, quality, and compliance standards. As the senior delivery lead, the Senior Project Manager manages client and stakeholder relationships, resolves complex issues or disputes, and ensures accurate reporting and governance across all assigned projects. Assist with technical issues and support/mentor project team members.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Minimum 15+ years’ experience delivering remedial or façade projects in live or complex environments
• Proven capability managing projects valued at $5M+
• Demonstrated strong client and stakeholder management skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of the BCA, remedial construction techniques, and industry standards
• Demonstrated leadership of internal teams and subcontractors
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
• High-level problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite (including Project or similar)
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Current White Card (Construction Induction Card)
• First aid

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

• Tertiary qualifications in construction management, engineering, project management, or a related discipline
• Intermediate skills with Procore or a similar project management system
• Familiarity with Signonsite or similar
• Experience in early contractor involvement (ECI) or consultancy-led project advisory roles
• Working at heights
• Exposure to legal or claims processes related to building defects or rectification projects
• Experience in working with large real estate investment managers or property investment funds
• Solid understanding of Australian construction contracts
