Senior Python Developer
Summary
Architect and build enterprise Python/Django applications and integrate GenAI features like GPT models and agent-based components into business-critical systems.
We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to architect, build, and maintain robust enterprise applications, while playing a key role in embedding advanced GenAI capabilities into business-critical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using Python and Django
- Build UI components leveraging CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, or comparable technologies as required
- Establish integrations with internal and external systems through REST, SOAP, and WSDL‑based services
- Craft and refine SQL queries, database structures, and data access logic to power application functionality
- Partner with Business Analysts and stakeholders to convert functional requirements into technical specifications and solutions
- Apply precise data mappings and transformations aligned with business and technical needs
- Participate in code reviews, adhere to established coding standards, and uphold high‑quality deliverables
- Assist in implementing and maintaining DevOps pipelines through Git and Azure DevOps
- Help integrate GenAI capabilities, including GPT models, embeddings, and agent‑based components, into enterprise systems
- Diagnose and resolve issues across the application stack, working closely with team members to address technical challenges
- Work alongside fellow developers to advance engineering best practices and coding standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of practical experience with Python and Django, including building enterprise-grade applications
- 2+ years of experience in SQL development, optimization, and database design
- 1-2 years of practical experience deploying Generative AI technologies, including GPT models, embeddings, and agent-based solutions
- 1-2 years of experience working with Angular
- 1-2 years of experience in LLM prompt engineering
- Familiarity with application architecture, system integration, and service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles
- Background in DevOps tools and practices, including Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments
- Proficiency in REST, SOAP, WSDL, and large‑scale service integrations
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast‑paced, collaborative environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
