Senior Python Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable, secure, maintainable applications with Python and Django
• Develop UI components using CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, or comparable technologies as needed
• Implement integrations with internal and external systems via REST, SOAP, and WSDL-based services
• Create and optimize SQL queries, database schemas, and data access logic to support application features
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications and solutions
• Apply accurate data mappings and transformations that meet business and technical requirements
• Conduct code reviews, follow established coding standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables
• Support and improve DevOps pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps
• Integrate GenAI capabilities such as GPT models, embeddings, and agent-based components into enterprise systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack in partnership with the team
• Coordinate with other developers to strengthen engineering best practices and coding standards

Requirements

• Proven 3+ years of hands-on work with Python and Django building enterprise-grade applications
• Hands-on 2+ years of SQL development, query tuning, and database design experience
• Practical 1-2 years of delivering Generative AI solutions using GPT models, embeddings, and agent-based approaches
• Working 1-2 years of experience with Angular in real projects
• Applied 1-2 years of experience in LLM prompt engineering
• Solid understanding of application architecture, system integration, and service-oriented architecture (SOA) concepts
• Background using DevOps practices and tooling such as Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments
• Proficiency with REST, SOAP, WSDL, and large-scale service integrations
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
