Senior Python Developer
Summary
A platform engineering role on a long-term project: building Python automation frameworks, Terraform IaC, Jinja2 code-generation templates, PowerShell/Puppet configuration management and CI/CD pipelines on AWS. Hybrid working in Southampton (2 days onsite) at a £75k base plus bonus and benefits.
In this role you will strengthen platform engineering by building automation and IaC solutions that accelerate production-quality code. You will collaborate with cloud, platform and engineering teams to drive reliability, standardisation and scalability across complex environments. You will work with modern AWS and automation tech to tackle challenging problems and deliver impact from day one. This is a long-term project in a supportive team that values continuous learning and progression. You will shape automation and delivery pipelines that empower rapid, safe infrastructure changes.
