Senior QA Automation Engineer
Summary
Build and own automated QA infrastructure using Playwright, TypeScript, and AI evaluation tools, integrating tests into CI/CD while ensuring platform reliability and compliance.
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for building and owning the company's automated quality strategy from the ground up. This includes developing end-to-end test automation, performance testing, AI evaluation infrastructure, and validation processes while integrating everything into the CI/CD pipeline.
You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure the platform remains reliable, scalable, and compliant with industry standards.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain an end-to-end automation framework using Playwright.
Build automated UI, API, integration, and backend tests.
Create AI evaluation infrastructure, including regression testing and validation for AI-powered features.
Design and execute performance, load, and stress testing.
Develop Computer System Validation (CSV) documentation, including IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and traceability matrices.
Build and maintain reliable test environments and test data.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and improve release quality.
Collaborate closely with software engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
Readiness to work from 16:00 till 01:00 in order to have an optimal overlap of work hours with USA based teams.
Required Qualifications
6+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Development in Test (SDET).
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (or another modern browser automation framework).
Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Python, or C#.
Experience with performance testing tools such as k6, Locust, JMeter, or Gatling.
Experience working in regulated environments with validation documentation (21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, or GAMP 5).
Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL).
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.

API contract testing (Pact, OpenAPI).
Experience with cloud and on-premise integrations.
Manufacturing, ERP, MES, or CRM domain experience.
Accessibility and cross-browser testing experience.
