We are looking for a highly motivated Senior QA Engineer who combines strong manual testing expertise with advanced automation skills. In this role, you will work closely with Product Owners, Designers, Developers, and QA Engineers throughout the entire software development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile banking solutions across both iOS and Android platforms. You will play a key role in validating new features, implementing automated test coverage, improving our QA processes, driving accessibility testing, and contributing to the evolution of our existing automation framework.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Test Management
• Own end-to-end quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform Test Analysis, Test Planning, Test Case Design, Test Execution and Test Reporting.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation aligned with business requirements and user stories.
• Manage test execution and defect tracking using Jira.
• Execute full test cycles, including functional, integration, regression, accessibility, and release testing.
• Ensure delivery quality through risk-based testing and release readiness assessments along with the QA CL’s. Manual Testing
• Collaborate closely with developers during story development and perform continuous testing throughout the sprint.
• Execute functional, exploratory, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for mobile applications.
• Validate mobile applications across various devices, operating systems, and screen resolutions.
• Identify, analyze, document, and track defects through to resolution.
• Support Sprint Reviews, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production release validations. Test Automation
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites using Java-based Quantum Framework integrated with Perfecto.
• Enhance automation coverage for mobile applications across both iOS and Android platforms.
• Develop automated tests for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing scenarios.
• Ensure automation scripts are maintainable, reusable, scalable, and aligned with engineering standards.
• Work closely with development teams to automate acceptance criteria and critical business workflows.
• Improve automation stability, reliability, and execution efficiency.
• Contribute to the modernization and enhancement of the existing automation framework.
• Evaluate and implement improvements to automation architecture, test execution strategy, reporting, and maintainability.
• Drive adoption of QA best practices, shift-left testing, and quality engineering principles.
• Support integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to identify opportunities for testability improvements. Accessibility Testing
• Ensure mobile applications comply with accessibility standards and best practices.
• Perform accessibility testing across iOS and Android platforms.
• Validate accessibility requirements for users relying on assistive technologies.
• Promote accessibility awareness and quality standards within the squad.

SKILLS

Must have

• 10+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing of mobile applications.
• Proven experience testing native and/or hybrid applications on iOS and Android.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Experience working in banking, financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated environments is advantageous. Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Advanced automation experience using: Java, Quantum Framework or Selenium
• Hands-on experience in: Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, End-to-End Testing, Exploratory Testing and Accessibility Testing
• Experience with Jira, Xrail or other Test Management tools for: Test Execution, Defect Management and Test Reporting
• Experience using: GitHub, GitHub Actions/GitHub Runners and CI/CD Pipelines
• Strong understanding of: Mobile testing concepts and mobile application architectures
• Knowledge of: API testing and backend validation is considered a plus Nice-to-Have Skills Description: Google Cloud Platform Engineering / knowledge of other major Cloud providers, Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to propose and implement scalable QA solutions.
