Role Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with 7-8 years of experience in software testing and automation. The candidate must be a strong individual contributor with hands-on expertise in UI Automation, API Automation, Automation Framework Development, Programming, and CI/CD Integration.

This is not a Manual QA or Test Lead role. We are specifically looking for candidates who actively design and develop automation solutions and can independently drive automation initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

• 7-8 years of experience in QA Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (Preferred) or Selenium.
• Expertise in API Automation using REST Assured, Postman, Karate, or similar tools.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Experience with Functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration, and End-to-End Testing.
• Hands-on experience integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong debugging, defect analysis, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Must be comfortable working as an Independent Contributor.

Good to Have

• Playwright framework implementation experience.
• Docker / Containerized test execution.
• Cloud-based test execution.
• Exposure to AI-assisted Test Automation tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks.
• Design and execute automated test suites.
• Improve automation coverage and execution efficiency.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze failures, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams.
• Drive automation initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to automation best practices and quality improvements.
