Senior QA Engineer

Belfast - Hybrid Salary up to £65,000 The Opportunity We are delighted to be partnering with a global technology organisation as they seek to appoint a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their Belfast-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QA Automation professional to play a key role in driving quality across complex software platforms. You'll work closely with Developers, Product Owners and QA teams, helping to deliver high-quality software within a modern Agile environment. The Role As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will take ownership of test strategy and automation, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. You'll work with modern automation technologies, CI/CD pipelines, APIs and AI-powered tools, while helping to develop scalable and robust test frameworks. What You Need Extensive experience in QA Automation within Agile environments Strong experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or similar automation tools Programming experience with JavaScript, Typescript, Java or similar Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines Strong API, functional and end-to-end testing experience Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber Understanding of performance and non-functional testing, ideally using K6 or JMeter Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT to improve testing workflows Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and business stakeholders Package & Benefits Salary up to £65,000 Hybrid working Modern automation and AI technologies Ongoing learning and development Career progression opportunities Comprehensive health and wellbeing benefits This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior QA Automation Engineer looking to work with modern technologies and play a key role in shaping quality engineering practices.
