Senior QA Engineer

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in end-to-end testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software testing, test case design, defect management, and quality assurance best practices. This role involves testing Bingo gaming applications, with a primary focus on delivering high-quality software through comprehensive testing processes.

Please note: you must have at least 10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, preferably testing gaming or iGaming applications to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

• Perform end-to-end, functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.

• Validate complete application workflows, ensuring seamless integration between frontend, backend, and APIs.

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Conduct API testing to validate data integrity, functionality, and system integrations.

• Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent application behavior.

• Validate business logic, data accuracy, system behavior, and user interactions.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve quality issues.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

• Support release testing and production validation to ensure application stability.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.

• Strong hands-on experience with manual testing and end-to-end test execution.

• Proven experience designing and executing functional, regression, integration, and exploratory tests.

• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar.

• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.

• Ability to write clear test cases, document defects, and analyze testing results.

• Understanding of frontend/backend architecture and client-server communication.

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience testing gaming, iGaming, or Bingo applications.

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

• Experience with SQL for data validation.

• Knowledge of performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or k6.

• Experience testing real-time applications or WebSocket-based systems.
