Key Responsibilities
- Review business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and PVT test cases
- Perform end-to-end testing to validate system functionality and business processes
- Identify, document, and track defects using the project defect management tool
- Perform defect retesting and regression testing after fixes
- Prepare and maintain test evidence and test execution reports
- Coordinate with developers, business users, and other project stakeholders to resolve defects
- Support test planning, execution, and daily testing status updates
- Participate in defect triage and provide clear details on identified issues
- Ensure testing activities are completed within the agreed project timeline
- Support UAT/PVT activities and production verification as required
- Log and track defects with detailed documentation
- Participate in defect triage meetings
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues
- Verify bug fixes and ensure regression stability
- Ensure alignment with client's Agile practices and development standards
Person Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with strong expertise in manual testing across web, mobile, or enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience in test case design and execution, including functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, UAT, and PVT testing
- Proficient in defect management, root cause analysis, defect retesting, and validation of bug fixes using standard defect tracking tools
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to collaborate effectively with developers, business users, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience in preparing test documentation, maintaining test evidence, and providing accurate test execution and status reports
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to ensure quality deliverables within project timelines
