Role: Quality Assurance Engineer - Labolatories and Sensors

Location: Gdańsk

Annual base salary rate: 205,820 - 236,693 PLN gross

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to strengthen Aritech R&D by supporting laboratory-based validation and pre‑certification activities for security products, with a strong focus on sensing products.

In this role, you will operate across environmental, EMC, RF, and other laboratories, ensuring that products are robust, compliant, and ready for external certification (e.g., CE, EN50131). You will combine hands-on hardware testing expertise with a structured QA approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and coordinate pre-certification testing for EMC, Environmental, RF performance, EN50131 compliance readiness.
  • Operate and support lab environments (EMC chamber, RF setups, environmental chambers, other labolatories).
  • Prepare and validate products for formal certification campaigns.
  • Perform RF measurements and analysis (range, sensitivity, robustness, interference scenarios).
  • Validate sensor and c ontrol unit behavior under real-world and edge conditions.
  • Analyze power consumption, battery behavior, and hardware stability.
  • Troubleshoot issues using lab instruments (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.).
  • Translate product and system requirements into comprehensive lab test scenarios.
  • Design structured test plans and validation strategies aligned with standards and risks.
  • Execute fault condition, stress, and robustness tests across hardware and communication layers.
  • Prepare test reports, certification evidence, and traceable documentation.
  • Work closely with R&D engineers, product management, and overall QA team.
  • Support development of test setups and potential automation frameworks.
  • Improve lab processes, methodologies, and repeatability of tests.

Required Profile

  • Engineering degree in Electronics, Telecommunications or related technical field.
  • Solid professional experience in Quality Assurance domain (hardware / embedded / electronics products).
  • Strong understanding of electronics and hardware systems (sensing, intrusion), RF fundamentals and sub-GHz communication systems.
  • Hands on experience with RF and lab equipment (e.g. spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes), hardware-level debugging and measurements techniques.
  • Experience in performance and robustness testing.
  • Knowledge of QA processes, methods and tools and ability to use them in practice.
  • Ability to analyze complex behaviors using logs, traces, and measurement.
  • Analytical, data‑driven approach to testing and reporting.
  • Good command of English language (in writing and speech).

Additional Qualifications

  • LabView or Python knowledge.
  • Prior work in intrusion detection / security systems domain.
  • ISTQB certificate.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
