We are building experienced Quality Assurance professionals to support active and incoming client engagements for a cruise-booking platform spanning IBM z/OS, APIs, and web interfaces. If you have a solid background in mainframe testing, API and web automation, and performance testing, we want to hear from you.
What the Work Looks Like
Depending on the engagement, Senior Quality Assurance Engineers typically work on:
Breaking down complex booking flows into functional, regression, integration, and non-functional test plans
Scripting 3270 test cases using Micro Focus UFT, Compuware Topaz, or REXX/JCL harnesses within Jenkins/DBB pipelines
Validating REST/JSON APIs and middleware using REST Assured, Postman, or Karate against z/OS Connect and CICS Web Services
Building and maintaining Selenium or Playwright suites for Angular/React booking portals, including cross-browser and mobile coverage
Modeling peak-season load in JMeter or LoadRunner and monitoring CICS and DB2 impact through Dynatrace and Splunk
Running test jobs in Jenkins, publishing results to XRay or Zephyr, and enforcing quality gates with SonarQube and Snyk
Reproducing production issues from SMF dumps, API logs, or front-end errors and verifying hot-fixes during off-hours releases
Tracking coverage, escape rates, MTTR, and performance baselines and communicating risks to US stakeholders
What We Look For
Must Have:
Available to work US-aligned mid-shift hours
5+ years of end-to-end QA experience for enterprise systems, including 2+ years on IBM z/OS (CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL)
Hands-on automation experience with at least one 3270 tool (UFT, Topaz, Rumba, or custom REXX)
Strong Selenium or Playwright scripting skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python
API testing expertise with REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools
Solid SQL skills for querying DB2 tables, VSAM files, and message queues
