Overall governance
• Cascade and implement the test strategies and department’s policies to subordinates and relevant stakeholders, in order to ensure that work practices are aligned with policies.
• Propose, periodically revise and gain approval on work processes and procedures to ensure efficient operation.
• Develop, propose, obtain approval, monitor and optimize utilization of unit’s resources and budget against company’s budget, to ensure optimization and the right prioritization of resources and budget.

Function-Related Accountabilities
• Develop test strategies and relevant communication documents to mitigate the risks to system quality and to provide directions and operational objectives for the subordinates.
• Manage and monitor junior members in designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures to ensure sufficient and accurate material and tools preparation for testing.
• Perform complex activities regarding QA testing, including testing and evaluation of post-release and post-implementation, as well as provide suggestions in executing sophisticated test cases on source code under varying circumstances to ensure products are free of errors and function as intended.
• Manage, review, and validate test results and reporting of testing activities such as test case coverage, defects discovered and their status, etc., to ensure all errors, defects, and issues are handover/resolved in a timely and professional manner to improve product usability, and to ensure all tests results are accurate recorded on the system.
• Monitor coordination and collaboration with relevant parties regarding feedback and need that has been changed in order to ensure understanding of stakeholders' expectations of the products and ensure test plans adjustment accordingly, as necessary.
• Keep abreast with evolving software, coding, and debugging techniques in order to maintain QA & Testing technical aptitude to a high level.
