Senior React Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior React Front-End Developer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance and responsive web applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of React.js and Next.js, excellent understanding of modern front-end architecture, API integration, reusable component development and micro-frontend/micro-architecture concepts. The candidate should be comfortable working on enterprise-grade applications and should be able to independently drive technical solutions from requirements through implementation and deployment.

The role requires someone who stays current with the latest React and Next.js capabilities, understands modern rendering and application patterns, and can make sound technical decisions around performance, scalability and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable and high-performance front-end applications using React.js and Next.js.
  
• Build reusable, modular and maintainable React components following established coding and architectural standards.
  
• Work with modern React features and patterns, including Hooks, Context, Suspense, Server/Client Components and other relevant capabilities.
  
• Develop applications using modern Next.js architecture, including App Router, server-side rendering, static generation, dynamic rendering and API integration.
  
• Design and implement micro-frontend / micro-architecture solutions where applicable.
  
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services, handling authentication, authorization, error handling and asynchronous operations.
  
• Work closely with backend developers to define and consume API contracts, data models and integration patterns.
  
• Build responsive and accessible user interfaces using CSS, Tailwind CSS and Material UI.
  
• Develop reusable UI components and maintain consistency across applications using component libraries and design systems.
  
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, SEO and Core Web Vitals.
  
• Identify and resolve UI, performance, browser compatibility and production issues.
  
• Write clean, maintainable and testable code following established engineering practices.
  
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and architecture/design decisions.
  
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
  
• Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, backend developers, QA engineers and DevOps teams.
  
• Contribute to technical documentation, development standards and continuous improvement of front-end practices.
  

Required Technical Skills

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in front-end development with strong expertise in React.js and Next.js.
  
• Strong knowledge of modern React and Next.js features, including Hooks, App Router, Server/Client Components, SSR, SSG and modern data-fetching patterns.
  
• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, reusable components, state management and front-end architecture.
  
• Experience with REST API integration, asynchronous operations, authentication and error handling.
  
• Good understanding of micro-frontend / modular front-end architecture and scalable application design.
  
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design and modern UI development.
  
• Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS and Material UI (MUI).
  
• Experience with Git, unit/integration testing and CI/CD.
  
• Good understanding of web performance, accessibility, security and cross-browser compatibility.
  
• Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.
