Senior React Native Engineer

You will build and ship customer-facing Android and web features for Aave App using React Native, TypeScript, and React. You will create responsive, accessible interfaces and reusable components, integrate wallet and blockchain functionality, and connect onchain and offchain data for savings, withdrawal, funding, notification, and analytics flows. You will take features from technical design through release, contribute to application architecture, write tested code, review contributions, and collaborate with design to deliver polished cross-platform experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and ship customer-facing Android and web features using React Native, TypeScript, and React
• Build responsive, accessible interfaces and reusable cross-platform components
• Integrate wallet connectivity, transaction preparation and signing interfaces, onchain data reads, gas estimation, and transaction-status updates
• Integrate onchain and offchain data, savings and withdrawal flows, funding options, notifications, and analytics
• Write well-tested, maintainable code and provide useful code reviews
• Partner with design to deliver precise UI, refined interactions, and a cohesive cross-platform design system

Requirements

• 4+ years building consumer mobile or cross-platform applications
• Strong production experience with React Native and TypeScript
• Deep React fundamentals focused on performance, render cost, and re-render behaviour
• Experience using profiling and data-driven approaches to resolve performance issues
• Hands-on experience with Reanimated and Gesture Handler
• Fluency with Metro, Hermes, EAS, and native module integration and debugging
• Track record of shipping polished consumer experiences with attention to UX, accessibility, and design detail
• Experience with secure storage, authentication, encryption, permissions, and sensitive user data on mobile devices
• Strong testing and debugging skills across unit, integration, end-to-end, device, and browser environments
