We are looking for you to join our growing team in Karlsruhe as a full-time (40 hours per week) as - (Senior) Reservoir Engineer (m/f/d).
- You design, execute, and evaluate dynamic data acquisition programs (e.g.well tests, PLTs, interference tests), including rigsite on-call duties, and analyze pressure, temperature, rate, and production data across all development phases.
- You build, maintain, and validate integrated dynamic reservoir simulation models based on static geomodels, ensuring geological consistency and providing continuous feedback to geoscience teams.
- You perform history matching, predictive forecasting, and scenario modeling to support robust decision-making and long-term field development strategies.
- You support well delivery through pore pressure prediction, dynamic data analysis, and close collaboration with drilling and well engineering teams.
- You lead or contribute to integrated field development planning studies, evaluating well concepts, development phasing, injector–producer strategies, facility constraints, and reserves booking implications.
- You assess development options against technical, economic, and subsurface risk criteria in close collaboration with geoscientists, facilities engineers, and production technologists.
- You ensure high-quality, well-structured data management (Petrel lifecycle) and maintain data integrity across well, seismic, and reservoir modeling datasets.
- You hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- You bring ideally 10+years of professional experience in reservoir engineering roles across different development phases.
- You work confidently with industry-standard software such as Petrel/INTERSECT, tNavigator, Kappa Saphir, the PETEX suite, and PVTsim.
