Senior Safety Officer - PMD - LOTS Project

Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering, or Safety discipline.

NEBOSH Diploma or Equivalent

Knowledge and/or Experience

8 years of experience as a HSEQ / SHE&S professional, loss prevention and industrial safety.

Experience in the Oil & Gas, HSEQ management of engineering,construction and commissioning projects, systems completions coordination, hook up/commissioning, and start up activities in brownfield and greenfield environment.

Experience in implementation of HSEQ systems and building HSEQ capability and competence in a new project construction and start up.

Good understanding of both qualitative and quantitative risk assessment techniques. Experience of active participation inprocess safety studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, fire & explosion, dispersion modelling and FERA/QRA studies.

Ability to read engineering drawings/documents and communicate with other engineers is essential.

Experience with contractors, sub-contractors and vendorsinvolved in the oil and gas industry.

Knowledge in developing and implementing Emergency

Response Procedures to deal with H2S Risk to the workers.

Experience in active participation of workers welfare programmes

Experience in development and maintenance of Project HSE Risk Registers.

Experience in providing Safety Leadership to large contractors workforce to drive proactive safety culture and Safety KPIs.
