Senior Safety Officer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Safety Officer to join our team in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management and a proven track record in hazard recognition, safety auditing, and safety training. As a Senior Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting thorough incident investigations, and implementing effective safety protocols across various projects. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. - Develop and deliver safety training programs to educate employees on best practices and safety procedures. - Oversee the implementation of safety measures during excavation and scaffolding operations to minimize risks. - Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure adherence to HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) and BOCW (Building and Other Construction Workers) compliance. - Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ISO standards and HSE regulations to ensure organizational compliance. Required Skills: - Strong expertise in hazard recognition and risk assessment. - Proficient in safety auditing and incident investigation techniques. - Knowledge of excavation safety practices and scaffolding regulations. - Familiarity with ISO standards and HSE compliance requirements. - Excellent communication and training skills to effectively convey safety information to diverse teams.
