Job Summary

As a Senior SDR/Specialist, you are the "Confident Connector." You aren't just managing a lead queue; you are the local expert and trusted advisor pet parents turn to when they need the best care for their furry family members. In an industry where people are often overwhelmed by endless lists of options, you provide clarity and peace of mind by matching them with the perfect professional and closing the booking right then and there. This is a high-energy, revenue-driving role where your empathy, speed, and conviction directly transform inquiries into confirmed reservations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted consultant to pet parents, understanding their pet’s personality and non-negotiable needs to provide expert service recommendations.
  • Manage inbound inquiries with speed and precision, guiding customers from initial interest to a confirmed booking on a single call.
  • Execute the "close" by setting up customer accounts and completing reservations on behalf of the pet parent to ensure a friction-less experience.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the curated network of pet resorts, walkers, groomers, and veterinary centers to provide authoritative advice.
  • Meet and exceed KPIs focused on conversion rates and total bookings generated.
  • Provide 8am–8pm coverage via a structured shift schedule to ensure every lead receives a timely response.

Requirements

  • Onshore residency in Dallas, Denver, Boston, Portland, or Houston.
  • Proven ability to work a flexible 40-hour weekly schedule including split shifts to cover the 8am–8pm window.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to build immediate rapport and project authority.
  • High empathy and a genuine passion for pet care—you treat every customer's pet like family.
  • Natural "closer" instinct with the ability to guide people toward a decision with confidence.
  • High level of organization and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Previous experience in a closing role or high-volume sales environment.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot CRM.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
