Senior Sales Manager

The Oaklander Hotel, an Autograph Collection property in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood, is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Sales Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for generating new business, developing strong client relationships, and growing group and event revenue through proactive sales efforts and strategic account management.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-focused hospitality sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, upscale environment and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop new business through proactive and reactive sales efforts
• Serve as the main point of contact for client events and bookings
• Execute marketing and action plans to meet sales and revenue goals
• Maximize revenue opportunities through collaboration with revenue management and third-party partners
• Represent the hotel at industry and networking events
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities in Delphi (or similar CRM)
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly revenue and call goals
• Support hotel operations as a collaborative team player

Qualifications:
2–4+ years of hotel or hospitality sales experience; upscale/full-service experience preferred.


Proven ability to generate revenue through prospecting, new business development, and account growth.


Strong knowledge of group, corporate, meeting, and event sales.


Excellent communication, organization, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.


Familiarity with hotel sales systems, CRM tools, market analysis, and pricing strategies.


Self-motivated, results-driven team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities.


Flexibility to attend client events, networking functions, site tours, and occasional evening/weekend events.
